I first started my business in early 2016 when my daughter was 9 months old. We were chosen as a cloth diaper brand rep and I had to re-learn how to take photos for their small business. I took online courses and stumbled upon a new genre of photography called Family Photojournalism. In the past, I had tried doing photo sessions for a few friends and family, but hated posing people and telling them what to do! I quickly fell madly in love with the documentary style and jumped all in.
